Allies, Partners, and Shared Purpose
The American Monetary Institute (AMI) is part of a growing ecosystem of individuals, groups, and organizations dedicated to monetary reform and economic justice.
These allies—ranging from policy advocates and community organizers to ecological economists and spiritual leaders—share a common concern:
Our current monetary system privileges private financial interests at the expense of democratic governance, public well-being, and ecological sustainability.
This page highlights the organizations and groups that resonate with AMI’s mission to establish a public, transparent, and accountable money system. Many of these groups are engaged in overlapping efforts—campaigning for debt relief, economic democracy, climate action, indigenous sovereignty, anti-racism, and ethical banking. Though diverse in focus, they converge around a shared recognition:
A monetary design is not a technical detail but a foundational question of justice and sovereignty.
From grassroots coalitions and educational nonprofits to think tanks and faith-based networks, these allies help amplify the message that monetary reform is essential to building a just and sustainable future.

People, Planet & the Power of Money Project / Nick Egnatz
[ https://nickegnatz.com/pppm/ ]

The People, Planet & the Power of Money Project is a public education initiative undertaken to give the basic facts on how our money is created and how it should be created. This is basic information that we all should have, but the vast majority of us lack. With this information we can tackle both the environmental and inequality crises that confront us today. Without this information we can expect our society to continue to stumble along, unable to find the money necessary for the known challenges of the day and unknown ones that are sure to confront us in the future.

International Movement for Monetary Reform
[ https://monreform.org/ ]

The IMMR is an international coalition of nonprofit organisations from across the world, campaigning for a monetary system that serves society. We maintain a very clear and specific aim, namely to change the way money is created and allocated, but we are not dogmatic about the way our proposal is implemented as the details will vary from country to country. To serve this goal, the IMMR supports and connects various national member organisations to share ideas, discuss research and exchange best practices. United in a global movement for monetary reform we look forward to the day when money systems are pillars of a just society in service of sustainability, stability and prosperity.

Par Economy

This page aims to broaden our understanding of monetary reform in relation to the marketplace and prices for raw materials. Just as we have learned that money does not come from nature but from law, so do markets. The marketplace is not a creature from nature but an agreement in custom and law.
