
Bruce Rogers-Vaughn
Bruce Rogers-Vaughn, an ordained Baptist minister, is a pastoral psychotherapist at the Pastoral Center for Healing in Brentwood, Tennessee (USA), and is a psychotherapy member of the Association for Clinical Pastoral Education (ACPE). Bruce taught at Vanderbilt Divinity School for 23 years, serving as Associate Professor of the Practice of Pastoral Theology and Counseling prior to his retirement from the academy in 2021, and is now recognized there as a Visiting Scholar. He became devoted to monetary reform after researching the impact of debt on psychological and interpersonal well-being, and from his awareness of the emphasis on economic justice in the early histories of Judaism and Christianity. Bruce is the author of Caring for Souls in a Neoliberal Age (2016). His continuing work as a public theologian may be followed on his website.
